Manufacturing Capabilities
Multotec’s Rubber division operates state-of-the-art
equipment, including more than 10 large presses combined
with 84 inch warm-up mills and large 10 inch extruders. Some
of these presses are amongst the largest in Africa in terms
of tonnage and platen size.

All steps of the production process are governed by ISO
9001:2000 standards and are continuously monitored by a team
of quality-control specialists. Multotec’s design division
produces optimal solutions whether it is through rubber or
steel liners, to suit the client’s needs, covering both
mechanical and process requirements. All design work is
carried out using the latest design and modelling software.
In line with this, a team of specialist sale engineers with
extensive metallurgical and rubber knowledge support all
products in the field. Field support is available 24 hours,
seven days a week.
